Music Oasis is a free music download service. They say it is a legal alternative to lime wire. They say it is 100% free and 100% legal. All the songs are in mp3 format. So you do not have to purchase.
When I downloaded this program it was only 2.2 MB, it uses Titanium an open source program to run oasis.
When I accepted Terms and conditions I was asked to accept and install some programs and toolbars, you can simply decline them as I did not installed any program. It was asking to install a trial version program PC speed maximizer. And some other program KwiClick, Registry Booster, face moods: a Facebook emoticons toolbar.
Finally it asked me to install shortcuts on desktop. Now actual software will start downloading because 2.2MB is just application and settings launcher. The installation process will begin after download completes. Actual size of this program is 13.71MB and it is needs Adobe Flash 10 to run.
Installation was completed in less than 10 minutes. As you know I did not selected any program to install so above discussed programs not installed but there were three shortcuts installed for screensaver and animated wallpapers. But these were shortcuts not programs. Using these shortcuts you can download them.
This mean this is a good program and you can get original music, DRM free music and legal. So you may not find your favorite music songs here but it is a good collection you can download any songs you like on Oasis catalog.
